FAQ
Questions people ask before they send a postcard with a wow effect
These answers focus on the things that actually matter before checkout: price, delivery, how the AR reveal works, and whether the recipient needs to install anything.
How does ARVideoCards work?
You upload a short video, choose the printed frame, add your message and delivery address, and we prepare a physical postcard. The recipient opens the viewer in the browser and points the phone at the card to watch the video without installing an app.
Is this like the Harry Potter living photos or moving newspaper?
Yes, that is the closest reference point. ARVideoCards creates a printed photo or postcard that appears to come alive through the phone camera. The effect is powered by WebAR and NFT image tracking rather than a native app.
Can I send a video as a physical printed postcard?
Yes. You upload the video, choose the frame to print, and we produce and ship a real postcard. When the recipient points the phone at it, the full video plays in augmented reality in the browser.
How do I make a living photo or animated postcard?
Upload a video to ARVideoCards, select the printed frame, and finish checkout. The result is a real printed postcard that reveals your moving memory when viewed through a modern smartphone browser.
How can I preserve my videos so I never lose them?
A printed video postcard ties the memory to a physical object people actually keep. It is more durable than chat threads, social feeds, or cloud storage links that can disappear over time.
Does the recipient need an app?
No. The experience works in modern mobile browsers on iPhone and Android devices.
Do you only ship in Switzerland?
No. ARVideoCards is built in Zurich, but the service is designed for Switzerland and worldwide delivery.
How much does it cost?
Every personal AR postcard costs $4.00 worldwide. It is a one-time payment for print, shipping, video delivery, and AR magic with no subscription or ongoing fees. Business campaigns are quoted separately.
How long does delivery take?
Delivery depends on the destination. UK and Ireland are usually faster than broader international routes, while Switzerland and most other countries can take several business days depending on customs and the local postal network.
What if there is a production or delivery issue?
Contact support with your order details, the postcard key if available, and photos if the printed card arrived damaged or incorrect. We use that information to investigate and resolve the issue.
